You want prestige. What life will that give you?
You want committed love. What experience will that bring you?
You want physical well-being. What emotions will that carry to you?
Go right to the emotional response. Now you are in vibrational sync with your desires. Stay there many times a day and you’ll be attracting the things you want.
If you’re griping about your life, how unfulfilling your career is, how you despise being single, how terrible the economy is, you’re disallowing well-being from flowing to you. Make peace with your life exactly as it is right now. Learn appreciation and gratitude for as long as you can as many times a day as you remember. Let go of the ‘how’ and ‘when’ it needs to appear. Don’t micro-manage the Universe by telling it how it’s supposed to happen. Your only job is to be in the mode of receiving what you want by practicing experiencing goodness and allowing it in.
It isn’t your fault that you’ve learned to expect little, experience anxiety, or a critical nature. After all, did we not get taught, “the squeaky wheel receives the grease?” We all received these habits of thought from our childhood. It’s not your fault, but it is your responsibility to change your habits if you no longer want to take what is handed to you. Learn to choose your thoughts and feelings intentionally. Then you will be a deliberate creator rather than a victim of circumstance.
There is not a thing wrong with wanting fulfillment in any and all areas of life. Make note of the internal dialogue you have concerning your self-worth, or the chance of your wants being fulfilled and just continue choosing a more empowering inner conversation. Life is supposed to be good and you are worth it. The power really is in your hands.
